H ous e of Transformation Entebbe [HOT-E] started in 1993 as a Gospel Assembly Church, a result of a gospel crusade held by Apostle A . A. Rutivi in Kitoro Entebbe, where many people gave their lives to Christ, and thereafter a church was birthed. Later in 2003, Rev. Silver B. Masiga, now the Senior Pastor of [HOT-E] was sent to revive the work, which had then stalled.
Ar med with a Bible and a keyboard, he set out with his youngest son Daniel Masiga to revive the church. Joining Bro Okurut Robert and Bro Andrew Otage, the brethren left in the town at the time, the church grew from 4 members who gathered to fellowship at Entebbe community center hall to an average of about 20 members. The church then later moved to a better premise—the Institute Club in Entebbe town.
B y the grace of God’s, the church was able to acquire a piece of land in the area of Katabi in Entebbe and on the 24th of May 2014, it Relocated to its current home, Katabi Entebbe Which now is the mother of three Satellite churches birthed in and around Entebbe City
